August in a flash!

OMG, I just looked at the blog and realized that the whole summer has passed and we are deep into fall. We have been all over the place at the house of Hubler.  I feel like the last 3 months have gone by in such a whirlwind.  August was pretty busy with the kids and trying to do fun family things.  We had another visit to Sesame Place this time because of the heat we actually took advantage of the water park. We did a visit to the aquarium, as well as parks, and Sunday Fundays in the pool.

I was also super busy with some graduation goodies and a couple of bday goodies. I had so much fun this month with my Marine set that was for a Marine graduation and I was honored to make some green and gold goodies for my cousins high school graduation.

As much as I loved my Marine cookie, Oreo, Rice Krispy, and pretzel set, the one year old birthday set of cookies I made stole my heart. The theme was gold, pink, floral, and polka dots. It was super sweet and perfect for the birthday girl. I also had the pleasure of being part of a 4 year old celebration that was Mickey Roadster Racers. They were super simple but loved the way they came out. Those guys took a trip to to Cali! The last set I did in August was a baby shower set for a baby girl. It also was pink, gold, and floral. I have to admit it has to be one of my favorite cake pops to date.  I love the way the swirl and pearls looked with the gold rose.

Oh my, I almost for got what the best part of August was. If you have read this blog before you know that I love to take classes at my favorite bakery. Well in August the hubby decided he wanted to do one with me. It was so much fun! He did an amazing job on his cake! We also celebrated the hubbies 33rd birthday. So as you guys can see August definitely flew by!
